B.S. in Aeronautics with a Major in Air Traffic Control

The first program of its kind, this degree is designed to place students directly into this exciting field. Curriculum includes training that utilizes a state of the art Virtual Controller simulator and radar simulators plus study in a second field. Upon graduation, you will have earned a private pilot certificate or have taken the Survey of Flight course.

Air Traffic Control Program Mission

The mission of the Department of Aviation’s Undergraduate Program in Air Traffic Control is to provide educational opportunities for students that will develop individuals who possess excellent aviation technical abilities, superior communication and teamwork skills, are adaptable to change, seek life-long learning, can effectively utilize technology and have an appreciation of other cultures in order to ensure successful contributions in the global and dynamic aviation industry. This program will prepare graduates in seeking employment as air traffic managers.

• AABI General Outcomes
  The AABI general outcomes are derived from the Accreditation Criteria Manual section 2.3.1. These outcomes were first approved by the AABI Board of Trustees in July of 2007, and are subject to change by action of the afore mentioned board.
  
  Aviation programs must demonstrate that graduates are able to:
